The Kiss

net loss

I design wovens and knits, so I appreciate the natural beauty of the net structure this seed is wrapped up in. As its coat is shedding it still makes a case for the seed as the seed tries to get planted.

no nose 4 today!

Sing a song of sixpence,
A pocket full of rye,
Four and twenty blackbirds
Baked in a pie.

When the pie was opened
The birds began to sing—
Wasn't that a dainty dish
To set before the king?

The king was in the counting-house
Counting out his money,
The queen was in the parlor
Eating bread and honey,

The maid was in the garden
Hanging out the clothes.
Along came a blackbird
And pecked off her nose.
And shortly after that,
there came a little wren,
As she sat upon a chair,
and put it on again.

a mug must be mugged

Do you go digging through an overabundance of mugs to find the one that's right for you each day?
