fiddlehead finale

Only a week or two left in paradise, Nova Scotia--last chance for fiddlehead ferns!  I fell in love with these delicious beautiful edibles and have enjoyed them in many ways, the best being fried with mushrooms, olive oil, garlic salt and cayenne pepper.  I shall sorely miss them when they are gone!
