Schoolhouse Rocks

Fairie Fest
The Fairie Festival is held every year in early May in Glen Rock, PA, with food, crafts, and music set up all over Spoutwood Farm. Donning wings, pointy ears and crazy costumes, thousands of freaky people turn out to make it the best people-watching event of the year. Even more delightful was walking through the woods and coming upon little fairy homes everywhere. The children must have had great fun "discovering" those.

Gorgeous Ghia
Here is my supercool car, a 1968 Karmann Ghia coupe. Idn't she a beauty? Fun to toot around town, riding super low, the deafening putt putt purr...and putting your groceries under the hood! With styling by Luigi Segre of the Italian company Carrozzeria Ghia and bodies built by the German company Wilhelm Karmann, Volkswagen intended the car to be a classier alternative to the Beetle. Over 400,000 Karmann Ghias were made between 1955 and 1974.
